Admission Criteria
The eligibility criteria for admission to BE and BTech programs vary based on the applicant’s category, ensuring inclusive opportunities for students from all backgrounds. Candidates from the Open category must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in their 10+2 examinations. Those belonging to the Backward category are required to achieve at least 45%, while candidates from the Most Backward category must secure a minimum of 40%. Similarly, students from SC/ST categories are also eligible with a minimum aggregate of 40%. These category-specific requirements reflect a commitment to fostering diversity and equal access to education.
Admission Process BE / BTech
If you have just finished your 12th Grade, here are the entry Requirements for B.E, B.Tech Programs through Single Window Counselling.
- Pass in +12 examinations
- Minimum Avg marks in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry put together.

For students who have completed Higher Secondary Course (Other than CBSE/Tamil Nadu Board), an equivalency certificate obtained from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi. In case of grading, lower bound of the mark ranges of a grade should be taken for calculating the percentage of marks.

Single Window Counseling by Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Chennai, as per their norms.
